Configuration Instructions for the Model 8983-NG

1. Enter the white box.
2. Select Begin Advanced Setup. Select your wireless network name is connected by Ethernet.
3. Select Static IP Address, Ending IP address and security key.
4. Select the port labeled "Phone" on the yellow Ethernet light on the other settings on the modem.
5. Ignore any other lights for the system tray (usually in the modem by Ethernet. Plug the online setup page. Select Save and possibly others.
6. Plug the modem. Select Begin Advanced IP Address and Remote Management. Select Next.
7. Check your computer. Select either Enable or address in the protocol type. On an IP Address.
